Help
How can we help?
Short answers for the people who run Sunday: the sound booth, interpreters, and whoever manages the church account.
Getting started
How do I set up our first service?
1. Events → New event: give it a name, a date and time, the language the preacher speaks, and a channel for each language you'll offer (a human interpreter, AI voice or AI captions).
2. Team & links: create one sound-booth link and one link per interpreter. You do this once; the same links work every week.
3. On the day: open the sound-booth link on the laptop connected to your soundboard and press Start broadcast. Interpreters open their own links. Put the event's QR code on screen or in the bulletin.
What equipment do we need?
A laptop at the soundboard with a small USB audio interface, and a headset for each interpreter. Listeners use their own phone and headphones. The recommended gear page lists options at every budget.
Do listeners need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code (or type the event code on the home page), pick a language and listen in the browser on any iPhone or Android.
Links, events and QR codes
The sound-booth link says “No event is scheduled right now”.
The booth and interpreter links open whatever is live, or the event scheduled from 6 hours ago to 18 hours ahead. Create an event for today, or use Events → Duplicate last event (+7 days) to copy last week's.
Does the listener link change every week?
Each event has its own listener link and QR code, and it works any day: before the booth starts broadcasting, listeners see that the service hasn't started and are connected automatically when it does. The booth and interpreter links never change.
Can we keep a service private?
Yes. When you create the event, choose “Only people with a PIN”. Listeners type the PIN once; repeated wrong guesses are slowed down.
How do we show captions on the big screen or the livestream?
Open the event: under “Display feed (ProPresenter, OBS, vMix)” there's a link per language. Add it as a Browser Source in OBS or vMix, or a Web element in ProPresenter, at 1920×1080 with a transparent background. Display feeds show AI captions.
During the service
Listeners say they can't hear anything.
Open the Control Room. The sanctuary feed should say On air with the sound bars moving, and the language should show Live. If the bars are flat, check the cable and input level at the soundboard laptop.
If everything is live, ask the listener to turn their phone volume up and tap Listen again. Each “No escucho” a listener sends shows up next to the language, so you can see if it's one phone or everyone.
The sound-booth laptop lost its connection.
It reconnects by itself, and listeners reconnect with it. For extra safety, open the same booth link on a second laptop: if the main one fails, the backup takes over on its own.
An interpreter didn't show up.
On plans with AI, press “Let AI voice cover” next to that language in the Control Room. Listeners hear the AI voice until an interpreter takes the mic again.
How do we send a message to everyone listening?
Control Room → Message to listeners. It appears at the top of every listener's screen right away. Pick a ready-made one or write your own.
What is privacy mode?
For testimonies, prayer and altar calls. Turn it on in the Control Room: the audio keeps flowing to listeners, but nothing is transcribed or kept until you turn it off.
AI translation
How do we make the AI say names correctly?
Settings → AI translation → Glossary. Add one line per term, like “es: Pastor Mike = Pastor Miguel”. The AI will always use your wording for names, ministries and places.
How are AI hours counted?
Only while a service is live on an AI channel. Worship music and silence are never counted. Each plan with AI includes hours per month; AI packs add more per language, and time beyond them is billed per minute.
Billing and your account
How do we pay?
By card, through Stripe, from the Billing page. Monthly or yearly (yearly is two months free). Tax-exempt churches can send their certificate and we won't charge sales tax.
What happens if more people come than our plan includes?
Nobody gets disconnected. Each extra 10 listeners at a service's busiest moment is billed as overflow, and if a month's overflow would cost more than the next plan, we bill that plan for the month instead. You can turn overflow off in Billing.
How do we change who can do what?
Team & links → People who can sign in. Owners and admins invite people and change their roles: Admin (everything but closing the church), Tech (events, links, Control Room), Caption moderator (fixes AI captions live) and Billing (plans and invoices).
How do we cancel?
Billing → Cancel or keep → Cancel plan (or Cancel pack for one AI pack). Nothing stops early: what you paid for keeps working until the end of the period, then nothing more is charged and the church moves to the free Prueba plan. You get an email receipt, and Keep my plan undoes it before then.
Can we download our data or close the account?
Account → Export your data downloads everything as one file. The owner can transfer the church to someone else, or close it: billing stops and links stop at once, and everything is erased for good after 30 days unless you ask us to restore it.
Still stuck?
Write to us and include your church's name. We answer as fast as we can, and quicker on Sunday mornings.
